Reunderstand your body, redefine skincare.

Better Body. Better Life.

Jason Huang, PhD in Sports Biomechanics and founder of Fascia Plus Lab, has dedicated many years to the research of human movement, fascia, and physical function. Spanning research, teaching, and product development, he continuously explores ways to translate complex human science into daily self-care routines that anyone can practice. Jason believes that body management shouldn't wait until discomfort arises; rather, it should be an integral part of daily life, just like eating, sleeping, and exercising.
I study the body, and I also learn how to live well.
I am Jason Huang (Huang Yi-ming).
My expertise began in sports science. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to research and practice in fields related to human movement, sports biomechanics, neuromuscular control, and fascia. I have also observed how the human body moves, adapts, and changes within various research, teaching, and training environments.
But as I came into contact with more and more people, I began to ponder a simpler question:
Why do we always wait until our bodies have problems before we start taking care of them?
Every day we shower, eat, sleep, and know that we need to exercise. Yet, we often don't become aware of our own physical condition until we feel tense, uncomfortable, or our mobility is affected.
This has also allowed me to gradually redefine my understanding of "body care."
The body doesn't just need treatment; it needs to be cared for every day.
I believe that truly effective health management should not only exist in hospitals, therapy clinics, or gyms.
It should exist in daily life.
From how we clean our skin, move our bodies, and exercise every day, to how we recover after work and maintain our condition while traveling, these seemingly small things can accumulate over the long term and affect how we get along with our own bodies.
Therefore, rather than telling someone "what is wrong with you," I am more interested in:
Can we understand our own bodies sooner?
Is there a simpler way to make body care a part of our daily routine?
This has become the thing I want to share the most right now.

From human science to daily life
My doctoral research background is in sports biomechanics and neuromuscular control, and I have also conducted research related to human movement and exercise.
Scientific training taught me one very important thing:
Don't rush to believe the answers; understand the questions first.
The human body is complex. A single movement, sensation, or physical state often cannot be explained by a single muscle or structure.
Therefore, I began to understand the body from a more holistic perspective—the skin, fascia, soft tissues, muscles, joints, movements, and how they relate to one another.
But I have also come to believe more and more that truly valuable science should ultimately be able to return to daily life.
If knowledge can only exist in research papers and cannot be understood or used by ordinary people, then it remains too far removed from most. That is why what I hope to do is translate complex human science into simple, understandable, and truly integrated body management methods for daily life.
Why was Fascia Plus Lab founded?
For me, Fascia Plus Lab is more than just a product brand.
It is more like a platform for experimentation and practice.
We tried to rethink this: if our bodies need daily care, could "cleansing, nutrition, activity, and recovery" become a more complete, everyday approach to body management?
From body cleansing and skincare products to fascia tools, exercise, education, and courses, I hope to gradually transform the knowledge that originally existed only in professional fields into methods that everyday people can also use in their daily lives.
Make taking care of your body something you start doing before problems arise, rather than waiting until they do.
Better Body. Better Life.
Nowadays, besides my research and work, I also value life itself more and more.
Exercising, working, traveling, resting, reading, socializing, and even just getting through the day are all closely connected to the state of your body.
Therefore, this website won't just talk about fascia.
I will share insights here on the human body, fascia, exercise, recovery, and daily maintenance, as well as things I continue to learn from my research, entrepreneurship, travel, and life.
Some content comes from science. Some comes from work. And some just comes from life.
But they all eventually come back to the same thing: take good care of your body, and your life will naturally get better.
Better Body. Better Life.

My professional background began in sports science. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to research and practical application in human movement, sports biomechanics, neuromuscular control, and fascia-related fields. I have also observed how the human body moves, adapts, and changes across various research, teaching, and training environments.
But as I came into contact with more and more people, I began to think about a simpler question:
Why do we always wait until something goes wrong with our bodies before we start taking care of them?
We bathe, eat, and sleep every day, and we know we need to exercise, but we often don't become aware of our physical state until we experience tension, discomfort, or restricted movement. This has gradually led me to redefine what "body maintenance" truly means.
The body needs more than just treatment; it needs daily care.
I believe that truly great body management shouldn't just exist in hospitals, treatment rooms, or gyms. It should exist in everyday life.
From how we clean our skin, how we move our bodies, and how we exercise daily, to how we recover after work and maintain our well-being while traveling, these seemingly small things, accumulated over time, can all affect the way we relate to our own bodies.
Can we understand our bodies sooner? Can we use simpler ways to make body care something we can achieve every day?

The human body is complex. A movement, a sensation, or a physical state can rarely be explained by a single muscle or a single structure. But I have also come to believe more and more that truly valuable science should ultimately be able to return to daily life. If a piece of knowledge can only exist in research papers but cannot be understood or used by ordinary people, then it remains too far removed from most of us.
So what I hope to do is translate complex human body science into a simple, understandable approach to body management that can truly be integrated into daily life.
